March 19, 2008

Greetings from Tokyo! As a "Creator-in-Residence" here, I am collaborating with artists as varied as the master Noh-mask maker and theater director Fujio Fujimori and his actors, as well as master photographer/light-designer/graffiti-artist (etc.) Christopher Noelle (aka TOFA) with his electronic music. During our presentation of these "works in progress" at the TWS Shibuya gallery on March 25, I will also discuss the history of my involvement with Japanese culture and play classic "EastWest" solos by Ken-Ichiro Kobayashi and Shoko Shida.
